Ready For an Adventure with Vintage Glass -

Packed up after work in preparation for a Saturday night/Sunday camping trip to fish Taneycomo following some quality time at the in laws tonight and tomorrow. I am especially excited for this trip as I have not been on a stream in a while and I will be chasing the big browns Saturday night (only my second trip in the dark) and throwing my grandpas old fiberglass rod and vintage reel for the first time Sunday also in pursuit of a trophy brown. I will follow up with a post detailing the adventures of course but I also feel that this special fly rod and reel deserve a post of their own as well so look forward to that in the coming weeks.
