Nothing -
is exactly what I have ready for the blog. I have been busy with opening week of firearms deer season, deciding to even buy a tag and participate at the last minute on Friday evening. I did not have my 30-06 back from the gunsmith's shop so I hunted last weekend with my AR-15 in 5.56/.223 caliber. I was worried about making an ethical kill using the smallest caliber legally allowed, but didn't have to face the decision to shoot or not. Tuesday I got the ought six from the gunsmith which I could have (and will) post about the gun and 'smith both but I have been busy running down a scope, which is something else I will review, a new magazine for the rifle and sighting it in at my local indoor range (you guessed it another review in the works). If my tally serves correct thats at least 3 more good posts that I could be making now if I had the time. I will also hopefully have two more sets of material for a post after Saturday. The plan is to bag a deer worth talking about early Saturday and make a trip to the North Fork of the White River, which will be noteworthy whether the catching is good or not. Wishful thinking? You bet.
